Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has warned his former club and other Premier League contenders against mocking Yerrian Timbers, Ajax Amsterdam, for his “severe lack of qualifications.” in the air

Timber has been link with a move away from Ajax in the summer of 2023, with United and Liverpool monitoring the 22-year-old.

But having always follow the Netherlands Eredivisie, Stam sees the shortcomings for the Dutch juniors as having a weakness to tackle.

“Manchester United have an advantage over other teams interested in Timber Akko because team manager Erik Ten Hag knows that kid well. In the same way, the child is familiar with the old cousin.” Opening his mouth through ‘AD Sports World’

“It was the intention of the trainers who chose to sculpt Timber into that style. But it must not be forgotten: this is the English Premier League.”

“You can’t fold the field to attack the opponent for the whole game ufabet. You have to have aerial duels that most strikers are no better than Harry Kane or Erling Haaland.

“When Lisandro Martínez arrived, everyone was skeptical about the same thing. But it was take away from what he did.”

“In the case of Timber, I’d say he lacks a fair bit of aggression – sometimes it’s barely noticeable in his game.”

“That’s just one example. A different story with Martinez, who was aggressive and threaten before having to actually duel with a header Such things can be learn. But you have to have some background.”

Timber’s exit, Stam views that if United ends up still able to play at right-back, or if standing 3 center-backs, they stretch on the right.
