Early Swirly – New Releases This Week: 10-17-2011

We hope all those who joined us (and many others) at the New York Comic Con this weekend had a blast.  It was a lot of fun of course, and our very own Corporate Ninja was happy to meet some fans and draw some sketches for you.  Orange Testament was able to meet and play with some fellow gamers as well.  This Flush Staff member was just happy to lay down the law on all you scrubs in Street Fighter X Tekken, which is fantastic by the way.  The whole staff is looking forward to that one.

Well, enough of that!  We’ve got new releases to get to. Here’s the rundown: Batman returns (Ha! See what I did there?) to battle it out in Arkham one more time in Batman: Arkham City.  Real guitar playing comes to video games in Rocksmith (and being that I am a man of the axe myself, I approve. Real Guitar Playing > Air Guitar Playing > Guitar Hero Playing).  Get your Naruto on (if there is such a thing) with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact (very Street Fighter like name, eh).  Finally, The Sims get furry, fuzzy, cute and cuddly in The Sims 3: Pets.

    Batman: Arkham City – PC, PS3, 360

“Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds. Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight.”
